Get Involved

Because I Love Evelyn is a relational outreach to our homeless neighbors, all of our volunteer needs are relational. Here are some ways you can get involved with I Love Evelyn.

1. Commit to work behind the bar for an hour or two. The bar is the first place most of our homeless neighbors stop when they come in. Serve food, make coffee, and listen to the stories.
2. Help us organize! We get clothes and other products donated daily, and oftentimes we don’t have time to organize since our staff is so small.
3. Donate snack foods! We are constantly serving small snacks throughout the day. Crackers, cookies, or anything else that comes in packages is welcomed.
4. Donate water! Same as above.
5. Donate clothes for both men and women, including shoes, socks, and under garments.
6. Lead a bible study! We are always looking for people to come share!
7. Help us with breakfast on Monday morning. We serve at 9:30 AM, right after our Monday morning service which starts at 8:45 AM
8. Do you have a skill that would be fun to teach? Like painting, drawing, or anything of that nature? If so, come teach a class!
9. Need your lawn mowed? Let us get one of our homeless neighbors to help you with your yard!
10. Help us make sandwiches from 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM.

If there is any other way you can think of that you could get involved, just let us know! We are always open to having people come up here and sit amongst our homeless friends and neighbors!
